INDEPENDENT LIVING

Independent Living communities offer their residents convenient access to entertainment and social opportunities, but with minimal assistance. Hospitality services such as housekeeping and meals are typically available.

ASSISTED LIVING

Assisted Living communities offer access to entertainment and social opportunities, housekeeping and meal preparation as well as additional support for activities of daily living such as medication management, assistance with bathing and grooming and other necessary support for those who need it.

PERSONAL CARE HOME

Personal Care Homes are generally a smaller setting than a large Assisted Living community and provide meals, laundry, housekeeping, medication management, assistance with activities of daily living and activity programs.

MEMORY CARE

Memory Care communities provide safe, specialized care with set routines to lower stress for people with memory and cognitive differences, in addition to the support with entertainment, meals, housekeeping and personal care tasks that are generally included with Assisted Living.

SKILLED NURSING

Skilled Nursing Facilities offer care or treatment that can only be performed by licensed nurses and thus can’t be offered by staff at most Assisted Living communities. While most stays are short-term and for the purpose of rehabilitation, there are some situations that warrant a long-term stay.
